What the engine can see right now

A venue whose pitch is honesty about data quality has no business hiding its own. This page is generated from the same snapshot the terminal trades on, refreshed every fifteen seconds.

Live feeds

Seven crypto venues stream over one WebSocket each; a feed that goes quiet for five seconds hands its venue back to the REST poll until it speaks again.

Price sources

Every market carries two or three independent venues. A source is live when its last quote is fresh enough to enter the estimate; a stale source is dropped from the median and costs confidence rather than silently passing through.

The chain

Every account action is a record with a hash of the one before it. Two public checks run against it: the chain recomputed from genesis, and every account's cash and positions rebuilt from the records alone and compared with the live state. A divergence is a bug, and it would be shown here.

Conservation

Two identities that must hold if every fill has a counterparty and every dollar has an origin. On every market the positions of all accounts and of the funds sum to zero. What all accounts and funds hold equals what was granted, minus fees and net funding, plus realised profit, which is itself zero-sum. Fills before the order book had no counterparty and left a residual in open interest; a restart bug before v0.11.1 lost a few accounts the journal had opened. Both are reported here and neither may move.

Loss waterfall

Every loss has an owner assigned before listing. The trader's equity, then the liquidation penalty, then the risk family's ring-fenced fund, then the general reserve, then deleveraging. The funds are seeded once; every movement into or out of them is on the chain under of_fund.

Protocol-side liquidity

The venue quotes its own book from a house account, around the engine's mid, at a spread and size that follow the same confidence traders see. The house is an ordinary account: its inventory and its profit and loss are here, every fill is on the chain, and it is never on the leaderboard.

The house has its own page: share of depth by market, presence, inventory and P&L.

Market regimes

Confidence maps onto five named regimes. Anything below Full is not a fault: it is the engine saying it trusts the price less than usual, and reducing what you can do with it.

MarketIn FullMinutes outsideExcursionsLongestWorst

A minute counts as outside Full if any single tick in it was, which is the strict reading. The share in Full is measured per tick, so the two columns disagree by design: the first is what a trader lived through, the second is what the engine believed on average.

Incidents

No incident has been declared. When one is, it is posted here with a timestamp, what broke, what it cost and what changed afterwards, whether or not anybody noticed it from the outside.

Known and accepted. The pre-launch runs on a single machine with no failover. If it restarts, open positions and balances survive on disk and on the chain, but the live stream drops for a few seconds and orders are refused for about half a minute. That is a deliberate trade for the pre-launch and it is listed here so nobody has to discover it.
